IT Support Analyst

Working for a growing web software and analytics company based in Hedge End, the IT Support Analyst will be predominantly providing 1st line support to their Infrastructure Team supporting a 150 strong user base across all areas and levels of the business.

The office holds a reputation as being a fun working environment with Nerf guns (other brands available) on hand so experience of the 5 D’s will go in your favour (dodge, duck, dive, dip, dodge).

The support will be across Microsoft technologies such as Windows OS & Servers, MS Exchange, Active Directory and Office 365.

Essential skills:

- Strong IT support background - 1st line support experience essential
- Strong experience of supporting users in an IT Helpdesk / IT Service Desk
- Strong experience of supporting customers across Windows Server environment
- Strong MS Exchange, Active Directory and Office 365 / O365 experience
- Experience of networking topologies and wireless networks such as VPN user management
- Strong experience of working with ticket logging systems and call tracking applications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

Although the above list would be essential to the role, there are also a number of desirable technical experiences that would go in your favour as listed below:

- Linux
- ERP Software
- Virtualisation technologies such as VMware
- Backup solutions
- MDM - Mobile Device Management
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

This position would suit a Helpdesk Engineer / Helpdesk Support Engineer / Helpdesk Analyst / Helpdesk Technician / Service Desk Analyst / Service Desk Support Engineer / 1st Line Support Analyst / 1st Line Support Engineer - who has strong 1st Line helpdesk support experience across Exchange, Active Directory, Office 365.

This IT Support Analyst is looking to start ASAP and will be paying between £18,000 - £24,000 depending upon background and experience.
