My client, a top Financial Services Firm, are looking for an IT support person.
To assist all users with any logged IT related incident when called upon.
To take ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service as soon as possible; escalating incidents to senior level where necessary.
To accurately record, update and document requests using the IT service helpdesk system.
To install and configure new IT equipment.
To resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware
To resolve incidents with Servers, Desktops, printers, copiers and scanners to name a few.
To support the Disaster Recovery Program.
To maintain the Backup Servers.
To maintain a first class level of customer service ensuring that all users are treated efficiently and in an appropriate manner.
Maintain excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the firm.
To be a highly motivated team player with the skills and ability to manage changing priorities.
Experience with the below would be desirable.
Windows 7, 8, 10.
Windows Server 2008
Various packages including MS Office, Adobe & Foxit.
Excellent IT skills.
Previous experience in a similar role.
Windows Server 2012, Exchange, WSUS, SQL.
Acronis, Symantec End Point security
Cyber security, AVG, GFI, TNI & Malwarebytes
Cyblock Web Security
This is a short term contract so you would need to be immediately available . You would also need to have some experience at a Financial Services Firm
