I.T. Support Analyst


£18K-£22K per annum

Our client our looking for an I.T. Support Analyst to join their team within the heart of Guildford. The I.T. Support Analyst will be responsible for:

Responding to email and telephone support enquiries within a timely manner; ensuring all calls are logged and maintained on the system

Acting as a liaison with external support companies to ensure all problems are resolved within the agreed SLA

Providing regular feedback of operational activities to the Head of I.T. and offering suggestions on how to continuously improve the service

Installing hardware and software for the end users

Managing the support for mobile and remote users

Maintaining the companies Intranet with up to date documentation

Contributing to the development and maintenance of all IT documentation and the knowledge base

The ideal candidate will:

Be experienced in supporting Microsoft Office and similar systems within a professional environment

Have experience in setting up and trouble-shooting networked PCs, printers and fax machines

Have experience troubleshooting on desktops, mobile phones and Windows desktop operating systems

Have knowledge of specialist legal software such as iManage (DMS), Workshare, BigHand, Laserform etc would be ideal but not necessary

Have experience of dealing with support calls and prioritising their workload

Have excellent communication skills

Remain calm under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines
