IT Support Analyst (Marble Arch) - Linux/ Windows

IT Support Analyst required to join a very successful Hardware and Software company for a permanent position within their Technical division in London.

You will be joining a global IT Support Team, acting as the first point of contact for all IT issues arising in the London office, providing a professional level of support to internal customers and colleagues.

You will be communicative with excellent customer and client facing skills. Working to provide a high level of technical support, solving or escalating issues in a timely manner, clearly documenting all activity. You will also be expected to proactively provide updates to customers and other support teams ensuring transparency within the organisation whilst constantly managing expectations.

The ideal candidates will have solid experience working in a fast-paced helpdesk environment with strong experience across both Linux and Windows desktop environment, alternatively this role could be suited to an Analyst with a couple of years' experience looking to develop and progress within an exciting organisation.


**1st /2nd line Technical Systems support

**Taking the lead on all calls, providing a timely and efficient fix or escalation

**Working to understand customer issues, advising on the appropriate action

**Documenting all calls on the companies CRM, regularly updating customers on progress

**Willingness to learn new software features products and processes

**Monitoring IT systems, reporting and recording issues on the Help Desk system

**Liaising with 3rd party support companies, ensuring compliance within agreed standards

**Raising orders for IT goods and services, updating internal management systems accordingly

Skill Set and Experience:

**Strong experience in Windows and Linux desktop support

**Experience supporting Mac OS X

**Experience building desktop and laptop environments for deployment

**Experience working in a helpdesk support environment

**Strong technical and customer service background

**IT related degree

**Excellent customer service and client facing skills
