IT Support Administrator - Shifts - CONTRACT

IT Support Administrator / Level One required for a household name company based in North West London

Rate: Negotiable, please state when applying

Location:

Park Royal, London

Shift:

3 On/3 Off (12hr) Shift Pattern Rotational

Early/Day/Late

Main Purpose of Job:

To provide IT Support and Services to my client’s business with an emphasis on 24-7-365 helpdesk

Main Tasks of Job:

  • Provide global IT/Technical/Application Support to our Production/Customer Support facility
  • Monitor and maintain IT and technical systems, including NOC and bespoke applications
  • Maintain and administer AD environments including security/policies
  • Maintain off site backup
  • Maintain and administer antivirus/security updates/patches
  • LAN/WAN support
  • Maintain IT documentation/asset tagging/licensing
  • Setup and configure new hardware and software as required

Essential Skills:

  • Fluency in English (written/verbal)
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows Desktop and Server operating systems
  • Good skills in Active Directory/Group Policy/WSUS/Networking including TCP/IP/subnets/DHCP/DNS/FTP
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Applications
  • Familiarity with Dell PC & Server equipment
  • Experience of PC imaging software for OS deployment
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products and security updates/patches
  • Telephony experience with IP/PBX technologies
  • Familiarity with Symantec Antivirus software or similar
  • Familiarity with VNC/RDP type software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Methodical and analytical mind and able to organize and prioritize daily duties
  • Able to work both as part of a team, and on own initiative as required
  • Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure with general flexibility
