IT Support/2nd Line/Desktop Support Team leader

I am currently looking for an IT Support/2nd Line Team Leader for a 6 Month Rolling Contract, working for a global organisation based in Uxbridge to start ASAP.

Key Requirements

  • Good knowledge of managing process's and leading a team
  • Well-structured way of working and troubleshooting/problem solving ability
  • Accredited education in Information Technologies, qualified IT Specialist or equal
  • Basic experience of Logistic and Repair (e.g. Hardware Replacement)
  • Set up, configure and support internal hardware and software applications
  • Working experiences in IT support for current Microsoft, Apple and Android hardware and operating systems
  • Good knowledge in ticket systems and Support processes
  • Write and review technical Documentation

IT Technical skills

  • Experience within a mid-to-large size organisation
  • Experience within a team leader position
  • Experienced in managing SLA's & processes
  • Good experience of physical setup/break down of workstations and testing/troubleshooting of computer equipment
  • Working knowledge of Windows 7, 8 and 10 environment
  • Experience working with VMware, Microsoft office, VPN and Lotus Notes
  • 2nd Level Office/Mobile Support.
  • Knowledge of supporting smartphones (iPhone, Windows, Android), tablets and hand held devices.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft, Apple, iOS and Android operating systems
  • Network Hands on, Network Technologies & Administration (AD/DNS/WINS) for WAN/LAN/WLAN
  • Familiar with ITIL processes and ticketing systems
