We are looking for Software Developers to work in the IT Services team producing business applications and data systems against SQL and Oracle databases.
Experience of full development lifecycle is required from systems analysis and the production of detailed specification documentation through the coding, testing and maintenance.
You will have recent experience of developing applications software and business systems to a high standard using a variety of languages and development platforms; including C# and Web development technologies.
Role responsibilities
*To analyse customer requirements and produce detailed systems specifications.
*To design, write, amend and test applications programs and information systems, using prescribed procedures and to set standards.
*To provide help, advice and assistance to colleagues in the IT Solutions team and to ensure handover training is provided to the Distributed Services Team for any systems developed.

The person & qualifications
*Qualified to at least level 3 in an IT related subject or similar professional accreditation
*Recent experience of Oracle and/or SQL enterprise database systems in a large-scale environment.
*Experience of systems analysis and the production of detailed specification documentation
