Our client is the UK leader and emerging global force in the delivery of IT services and software services to the education sector. A financially healthy and very ambitious organisation with clear market USPs. At an exciting time of continued growth, we have been asked to assist in the recruitment of an individual to take responsibility for the field-based IT support / service delivery team. This is a new role, in a newly formed unit with the strategic aim of ensuring there is a field-based IT engineering support function to serve for the whole of the business. This team will drive this organisations ambition to deliver fundamental changes in how IT services are supported and delivered to managed services clientele.

You will be responsible for a field team in excess of 40 individuals made up of: Field Engineers, remote Implementation Engineers (India) and Service Desk. There will be team leads within these units.

Candidates may have held the following types of roles: IT Service Manager, IT Service Delivery Manager, IT Support Manager, IT Manager, IT Delivery Manager, IT Support Services Manager.
