IT Service Desk Manager - Oxfordshire

A very unique and exciting opportunity to join a European leader in retail and hospitality, our client require an IT Service Desk Manager. Having recently completed a major IT transformation programme who now aim to provide a world-class IT service to support business growth.

Working within Group IT, this role will lead the Service Desk operation & will be responsible for all aspects of Service Desk performance. The role will work closely with the IT Operations Manager & IT Service Assurance Manager in order to deliver a world class IT service.

Technical Specification:

  • Experience of managing an IT Service desk function
  • Experience of actively solving customer incidents on an IT Service Desk or call centre
  • Demonstrated progressive experience in the management of a technical support team.
  • Considerable experience operating within an ITIL service management environment
  • Experience of configuring and operating an ITSM tool such as ServiceNow
  • Extensive experience of computer hardware, including HP, Toshiba, Apple.
  • Extensive experience with desktop operating systems, including Windows 10 & Mac OS
  • Extensive experience with Active Directory, Exchange/Office 365 and Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Minimum of intermediate level ITIL certification

Desirables:

  • Speaking another European language would be extremely desirable
  • Those with retail/hospitality/tourism/luxury goods would also be very desirable
