IT Service Desk Engineer, 3 month contract, Didcot, £150 - £175 per day + VAT:
A leading IT Firm based near Didcot is looking to recruit an IT Service Desk Engineer to help their IT team through an extremely busy period. With interviews already scheduled in, my client will move extremely quickly and is hoping for someone to start on the 16th April 2018.
The IT Service Desk Engineer will be responsible for the smooth operations and running of IT support, IT Hardware and software for the business. Supporting users remotely at a 1st and 2nd line level, you will support and troubleshoot lots of different technologies.
To be considered for this excellent IT Service Desk contract, you will need previous experience in a similar 1st/2nd line support role. Excellent communication skills is essential for this role as you will be dealing with a range of staff. The following knowledge and technical skills are highly desirable:
- Strong knowledge of the Windows Operating Systems - Windows 7 & 10.
- Previous experience working in a Windows Active Directory environment.
- Previous experience with Office 365.
- Experience using Citrix.
- Solid understanding of computer hardware.
- Comfortable Setting up and troubleshooting docking stations, monitors & peripherals.
- Comfortable using and troubleshooting Apple & Android devices.
