IT Senior Web Developer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Web Developer to join our Development team who have an incredibly exciting role, working a mixture of large projects that are crucial in shaping the future of the business. You’ll have the opportunity to develop and maintain our websites throughout Virgin Money and Virgin Money Giving, working closely with our content editors to constantly evolve the functionality of our existing site to ensure it stays fresh and responsive to our customer’s needs. The customer is at the heart of our work and you’ll love helping to provide a delightfully surprising customer experience through increasing usability and optimising that journey.

We're looking for someone with a real passion for what they do and a lust for learning to keep our sites up to date with the latest technologies; in both the code itself and in the toolsets and processes we use. You'll need strong communication skills as you work collaboratively with project teams to help shape and influence design and solutions for web development.

Ideally you will have experience with the following skills:

  • NET, C#, MVC, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS

  • Usability, security and accessibility standards

  • Jasmine, Karma, Protractor, Selenium

Salary: £33,500 - £48,000 (depending on experience) and flexible benefits
