I am currently working with a great Insurance Client who is looking to boost their security team. This client is a global leader and is looking to add to their small security team. This role with see you working directly with the CSO and has great opportunities to provide support across EMEA.

Security Analyst Specification:

• Investigate security events and incidents and work from triage to remediation
• Assist with building and implementing tools to automate security monitoring and tasks
• Knowledge of web security concepts covering network through application layers
• Monitoring and promoting IT compliance with key controls (Patching, Antivirus, Hardening, Encryption etc).
• Provide expert advice to the organisation on ISO27001, PCI/DSS and generally, on information risk analysis/management.
• Good understanding of the protocols underpinning the web - TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL/TLS etc...
• Good understanding of hardware load-balancing, firewalls, multi-tiered architectures.
• Proven industry experience in application and infrastructure security testing
• Work with key stakeholders to identify, respond to, and remediate information security issues
• Contribute ideas and solution to a fast-paced, growing, and evolving team centred around operation excellence
• Assist with developing solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities quickly and efficiently

What you will need:

• Minimum of 2-3 years in similar positions in the security of large companies or organizations.
• Previous experience in an enterprise/govt SOC is required
• Experience with SIEMs is required
