My client a well-established IT and Telephony company based in Coventry are looking for an experienced IT Field Sales Executive with a strong record in IT sales. Experience of network, server, router and firewall sales would be advantageous. You will be client facing and be responsible for attending meetings and securing new business for the organisation.

The role will report directly into one of the company Directors and you will be responsible for a target of around 20K per month.

The company offers a great package and You’ll benefit from a 10% revenue share and uncapped commission. In addition to this my client offers excellent career progression and development. This is a new and exciting opportunity where you will be able to develop and progress. As an IT Field Sales Executive, you will sell to prospective clients within an allocated target area and manage the relationship with existing clients. You will maintain and grow contracted business within the existing client base as well as generate new business through effective account management. If you have a strong sales record/sales experience within the IT industry then this is the right role for you!

Key Responsibilities for the Successful IT Sales Executive:

  • Attending client meetings
  • Seek out and target new customers and new sales opportunities, initiate an action plan to approach and secure new business
  • Increasing sales
  • Hitting sales targets - 20K target per month
  • Promoting products and services to business
  • Building relationships with clients
  • Keeping up to date on all new products and services
  • Working with the sales and account management teams
  • Experience in the IT Service sector sales with demonstrable networks, routers, servers and firewalls
  • Good knowledge of current industry best practise
  • Pipeline management and accurate weekly/monthly forecasting

  • Professional well-spoken person (fluent in English)
  • Have excellent customer rapport building skills
  • Be able to demonstrate an ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to work under pressure and be an excellent team player
  • Be computer literate and have a good knowledge of the internet as a tool
