We have a cracking opportunity for a driven and career minded IT Sales Executive to join leading, award winning Managed Services Provider with a focus on Data Centre & Cloud Services.
The Managed Services offering is second to none and most of the business that this client bid for - they win! Why? The role is a mix of existing accounts (yes, you will get accounts to manage from day one!), and new business - it will be a split of about 50/50 new business / account management.
You will need to be able to build high level relationships with clients and credible at all levels, from Procurement through to CxO level.
So who are we looking for?
Well, to start with - you will need at least 2-3 years experience in IT Sales. That may well be hardware focused, perhaps you come from an Infrastructure background or maybe you do come from a Managed Services background - all of these are fine, as long as you have a good understanding of IT and how it all fits together.
You will need to be highly driven and able to both develop existing accounts and hunt for new business - you will need to be able to demonstrate wins from brand new logo accounts and existing business through relationship management and account development.
You will be looking for a step up to a more consultative sales role, so you will need to be bright, quick to learn, able to understand complex technologies and have strong & credible customer engagement skills.
You will be within an hour of the Bedfordshire based office and be willing to split your time both within the office and out in the field.
You will be a "career person" - you will have drive, ambition and a stack of personal goals that you are looking to achieve.
If you have a knowledge of solutions by Cisco, Netapp, HP, Nutanix and other such vendors, this would be desirable!
