IT Sales Account Manager

Responsibilities

  • Identify new business sales opportunities, using telephone, email and other prospecting techniques
  • Working with the wider sales team members to assist with opportunities identified with existing clients
  • Attend meetings with prospective clients, gather and record key information, identify suitable products/services and prepare quotations/presentations
  • Adhere to the company sales processes and documentation when progressing sales opportunities
  • Keep up to date and accurate records within the company's systems such as CRM
  • Meet and strive to exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Assist other departments in the delivery of products and services
  • Provide account management for new business clients secured.

Required Skills and Experience -

  • Has been successful in a similar role previously
  • Has a broad knowledge of IT-related products and services
  • Use of ethical sales techniques and integrity; working to build trust, and lasting relationships with our clients
  • Self-motivated and dynamic
  • Ability to listen to client problems, translate them into technology led solutions in conjunction with IT team
  • Commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Research emerging technologies, liaise with vendors and attend training as necessary
