Recruitment Consultant - IT

Salary: £23K - £26K (Depending on recruitment experience)

Permanent People are working with a fantastic recruitment agency based in Birmingham who have been recruiting into the IT industry, who are looking for recruitment consultants to join their very successful and established team.

The Company:

Our client recruits into the IT industry at a very high level and focus their approach on a specific vertical within the market, thus meaning you’ll become a real specialist within this unique sector.

The IT sector is one which is highly profitable with typical salaries in the sector ranging from £50K - £150K and with 20% margins as well as a very competitive commission structure, you’ll be earning a strong commission package!

First 2-4 months:

The first 2-4 months’ will be centred around building a candidate pool and gaining industry knowledge. My client has a very supportive environment, where you’ll be working very closely with many senior consultants who have achieved real success and have in-depth knowledge of the industry.

6 months onwards:

After your initial 6 months you’ll have developed a very strong understanding of the sector and be a real expert within this niche. You’ll have dealt with many different vacancies and would have likely made a number of placements by this point.

You’ll have established a candidate pool of strong candidates through both the company database as well as traditional headhunting. As they recruit internationally, you’ll have brought on an international client (in Germany, France or Switzerland), which you’ll be looking to visit on an expenses-paid trip within the next few months!

The ideal Candidate:

Our client are looking for driven consultants within preferably a technical background who are looking for a step-up in earning potential and opportunity.
