IT Recruitment Agency with currently seeks a new addition to the IT Recruitment Sales team. You will be involved with new business development of your own client base but will also work on client accounts of the company as the business continues to strive and requires additional resource assistance.
Working within small but dedicated team of highly experienced, and technically minded, IT Recruitment Consultants you will manage your own desk/workload, develop client relationships through your own initiative as well as work on client accounts to recruit both permanent and contract IT staff into the UK markets.
We operate in a genuine consultancy fashion and have a large number of sole and/or PSL client agreements in place with high profile customers within their sectors across the UK. You will work with the Sales Manager to adapt to the technical consultancy piece, adopting account management techniques as required whilst continuing to develop the client base through new business development activities during quieter periods. You will provide both your recruitment sales experience combined with technical understanding to the role to place IT professionals working in infrastructure, software/web development, business analysis, project management, systems administration and related positions on both a contract and permanent basis.
We are searching for an experienced IT Recruitment Consultant. You will have been working within an IT Recruitment Agency where you will have made both Permanent and Contract IT placements and have a solid background in both new business recruitment sales and business development along with account management experience. Ideally, you will have a solid understanding of Information Technology understanding how technologies interact with one another and be able to talk reasonably confidently about programming, infrastructure, databases or similar related tech although this is only desirable as these skills can be taught in-house. You will be self-motivated, committed to the long-haul with a view to developing a book of contractors with us and indeed bringing new business to the company whilst adding value by working in an account management capacity on company accounts/vacancies. Excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills are pre-requisite.
We do not make unrealistic promises about OTE and commission but do offer a very, very competitive commission structure to the right individual combined with support and an environment which respects the work life balance (and doesn't expect late nights / early starts as standard). High achievers can do exceptionally well within this role and will receive both the resources and support required. Hard workers looking to build their contract book and earn decent and significant commission would be welcome. £50k OTE is based on a genuinely attainable monthly gross revenue target in year one.
We would also welcome candidates at the lower end of the basic salary range who possess more junior levels of experience and who wish to develop their career with training and support from an experienced, senior, recruitment consultant. Formal training will be provided by an external 3rd party in conjunction with onsite training.
