Within the CIO Operations team you will be developing E2E solutions to streamline through technology and automation some of the most critical operational processes within Santander, leveraging our digital channels to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction. The difference you'll make.
Leading 1-3 squads from a technical perspective in close collaboration with the Product Owner
Discussing functional and technical solutions with the different stakeholders in the business, UX designers, architecture, engineering managers to shape opportunities and decide on next priorities
Developing our engineering talent pool through coaching and understanding how to make them grow
Ensuring delivered solutions are developed under DevOps practices and latest technology trends
Keeping the solutions delivered running healthy in production minimising incidents and maximising quality of service
What you'll bring.
Experience working in Agile environments and managing a squad of engineers
Demonstrating success implementing complex processes in production to final customers
Experience of working with multiple technology stacks
Knowledge in customer onboarding and KYC processes on financial products for retail and/or business customers (Bank accounts, credit cards, loans, investments)
It would also be nice for you to have.
Demonstrated experience managing teams delivering following DevOps principles under PaaS environment
Advocate of Test-Driven Development and Behavioural Driven Development practices integrated within the lifecycle of the software development
Experience managing teams supporting production and maintaining 24x7 service levels and defined SLA's
What else you need to know.
Our main tech stack is Angular front end and Spring Boot or NodeJs on the backend and integrated with Appian as BPM engine for more complex workflows. We deploy into a PaaS using a Jenkins pipeline. We also interface with Git and the Gitlab API.
We aim to practice Test Driven Development with the goal of having sufficient confidence in our test coverage to enable direct and continuous delivery of our software into production.
