IT Project Management Officer

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure that budgets and time are tracked on projects and reported to Finance & Head of Projects
  • Creating, maintaining and providing standards, methodologies, templates and PM tools
  • Maintain and administer any PMO software and SharePoint sites
  • Assist in recruitment and on/off boarding of staff members within the project team, providing the relevant support, advice and guidance
  • Creation and maintenance of the project library and effective maintenance of project documents
  • Provide support in compiling progress reports, presentations and similar documentation on behalf of Head of Projects for various meetings

Skills Required

  • Previous PMO experience working in a large corporate environment and experience handling multiple projects and assisting with delivering them on time and to budget and quality.
  • Experience of PMO techniques and procedures, such as; Risk & Issue assessments, planning and financial control
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior managers and stakeholders and supporting project teams
  • Previous experience assisting project teams/managers with IT focused projects
