Are you an IT Manager looking for your next challenge? We are currently working on behalf of well established company based in the Medway Towns.

The role will be managing a small team of IT professionals, responsible and accountable for the smooth running of the company computer systems.

The successful candidate will have proven experience as an IT Manager or other relevant experience, ideally having worked in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Experience of data import/export and integration with third party systems, along with excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems. An expertise in data centre management and data governance, hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation.

You will be required to have a strong technical knowledge of ERP systems - Sage is advantageous, an excellent understanding of distribution processing.

A Strong understanding of installation, patching and upgrades and a strong technical knowledge of database systems (SQL queries and updates).

Duties include maintenance, including backup, recovery and indexing therefore a knowledge and understanding of development work along with the ability to run scheduled tasks, scripts and crons.

You will also have a working knowledge of an industry standard IT service Management along with the ability and drive to seek and find ultimate solutions.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills with a hands-on approach to all aspects of the role.

Along with a competitive salary the company offer 29 days annual leave (including bank holidays). Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and Friday is 8.30am to 4.00pm.
