IT Manager - Permanent Job - Guildford

We are currently recruiting for an international SME based in Guildford who are looking to recruit an IT Manager on a permanent basis. The organisation have a small but established international footprint with 80 employees and are looking to recruit an IT manager to provide hands-on support, guidance and management across the entire technical estate. This is a lively, vibrate and successful business that offers the opportunity for international travel (when restrictions permit!).
Your new role
You will be the sole provide of IT support internally and be responsible for managing a broad range of systems including; O365, Azure, Saas, Intune, MS Teams, CRM and ERP systems to ensure the day to day operations of the business across HR, Finance, Sales etc. The organisation currently have an established outsourced provider for Service Desk, DR and Escalation issues so your role will act as the primary point of contact internally for IT and Technical queries working alongside the Outsourced provider to ensure systems and applications are fit for purpose.
The IT Manager will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to all internal employees, take responsibility for the IT budget annually, responsible for maintaining and negotiating Vendor and 3rd party contracts and licences, system updates/ enhancements (working with the outsourced provider).
Please note due the size of the organisation we're seeking someone from a similar background, with previous/ recent experience of working for an SME managing a broad range of infrastructure and applications, who is very hands-on. You'll be approachable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to quickly build relationships across the business (including working with offices in UK, US, Dubai & Canada).
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience working as an IT Manager ideally with an SME where you have been the sole provider of technical support internally, or have taken the lead as part of a small team. Be approachable, and confident working with stakeholders across the business and have excellent customer facing and communication skills.
We are looking for someone who enjoys providing hands on support and overall guidance to senior managers regarding current and future technology for the business, you will have a 'no job too small' approach to working and supporting all employees across the organisation, and take an active interest in keeping up to date with trends across the technology industry and advising the business of these.
What you'll get in return
The organisation are currently working remotely and longer term will take a hybrid and flexible approach. You will be based out of Guildford (parking on site), and travel to the London office a couple of times a month, longer term when restrictions allow you will also have the opportunity to travel internationally to meet the other offices you support and work alongside.
