Overview:

My client is at the forefront of the eCommerce revolution, providing brand manufacturers with analytics and insights that help them sell more products on Amazon, Walmart.com and other leading eCommerce sites.

Your role as IT manager will be leading a small team, you are going to be responsible for the software and hardware infrastructure used by their employees globally. The role requires a combination of managerial skills and hands-on experience, as you will work on projects from start to finish from design to completion.

You will be the IT contact globally for their U.K., U.S., Belarus and China offices. In reality this means ensuring that staff have the hardware and software that they need to carry out their duties, that all the requisite network connections function effectively; and that the business has a suitable IT strategy in place to continue to meet the demands of the market in which we are operating.

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Lead the internal IT team in charge of the office software and hardware infrastructure
  • Define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
  • Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
  • Monitor the performance of our IT systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
  • Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
  • Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years of experience working in IT operations
