Leading global customer communications delivery expert requires an IT Manager to oversee the IT Support team assisting their established and developing business. The role will be based in their Bristol office.
Managing a team of 4 Support technicians from 1st to 3rd Line, you will be responsible for delivering IT infrastructure projects to the business. Predominantly this will involve 3rd Line projects with some 2nd Line support where appropriate. This will include support of desktops, servers, firewalls, NAS (Network Attached Storage), SANs, Content Delivery and other devices as well as managing escalations from Second Line, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution of Customer Support cases. Providing accurate and timely diagnosis and rectification of ITC faults you will analyse system architecture, planning and implement more efficient and effective client device management practices as well as performing hardware / software repair, maintenance and installation.
Possessing 2+ years IT Management experience, along with 5 years in IT Support (including 2nd and 3rd Line) preferably gained in a production environment and ITIL trained, ideally you will be CCNA, VCP and Project Management qualified. You should have a working understanding and technical certification in many of the following:
* Shell scripting
* Cisco ASA
* Cisco Networking
* Windows Server 2008/2012
* Active Directory
