Salary up to £43,358 per annum (dependent upon experience)
Permanent - 37 hours per week
They now have an exciting opportunity for an IT Manager to join them on a full time, permanent basis.
This is a pivotal role to lead on and develop the proposed merger of IT systems between the colleges. Leading a team of technical staff you will deliver a complete technical support service to the Companies to ensure resources are managed efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of their users.
They are looking for an individual who can design, implement, administer and maintain the following:
• Virtualised environments in VMWare.
• HP Blade Chassis and SAN storage.
• Apple Open Directory and Linux LDAP authentication services and related technologies.
• Linux (Ubuntu) server administration.
• VoIP services.
• Microsoft Windows Servers, Active Directory, Exchange and related technologies
• Internet Services, including DNS, Mail, Web and related systems.
With a degree in an IT related subject and a Microsoft qualification, candidates should have evidence of successful leadership of an IT technical team and excellent knowledge of current protocols and standards including Active Directory, Group Policies, MS Exchange, Core Switching and routing, Virtualisation, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
