What is an IT Infrastructure Analyst?

The role of an IT Infrastructure Analyst works within our wider IT and Development Team within Reed. This role will help to support the group of Reed companies with network and desktop support, development and project management.

This role will have the main responsibility for managing NETAPP storage administration. You will be also be responsible for the administration of access to key reed systems, ensuring that all escalated calls from our IT support desk are dealt with, providing desktop support to Co-Members (internal REED employees), assisting in the maintenance of the IT inventory and also assisting in various IT related tasks and projects.

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their skills and experience with the following:
• NETAPP Storage Administration
• Microsoft desktop operating systems including installation & configuration and trouble shooting
• An understanding of TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting
• Printer configuration
• Microsoft Office 2013
• Microsoft Windows 2012 Server Administration (Active directory)
• Active Directory User account maintenance
• File & Directory management
• Print services
• Active Directory User Policies
• Attention to detail is a priority.

In addition to the key skills required you need to be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to analyse situations and act accordingly, as well as the ability to build good working relationships.
