Salary: £18,000 - £21,000

IT Helpdesk Support - 1st/2nd Line Support specialist is required to join a leading UK organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an excellent organisation with enterprise technology and career progression.

Essential skills:

  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Experience providing IT support 1st or 2nd line support
  • Good attitude and willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of Windows 10 beneficial
  • A good knowledge of Windows operating systems generally and excellent knowledge of Windows 7 - with experience of building, configuring and repairing PC’s & Laptops
  • Knowledge of Office 365
  • A good knowledge of Windows applications with strong MS Office skills - with a focus on Microsoft Outlook & Excel
  • A general understanding of networks - an understanding of TCP/IP, switches and broadband routers
  • A general understanding of communications (VPN / broadband / RAS)
  • A Good understanding of Mobile devices (iPhone / iPad)
  • Good communication skills, with a professional telephone manner.

Role:

As an IT Helpdesk Support - 1st/2nd Line Support specialist, you will be required to provide first class customer service across the business, you will be providing support to people across the UK remotely and internal staff also. You will have the opportunity to work on the best of technology and develop your skills, with on the job training and IT training courses.
