The Company
A fast paced Telecoms compaby based Aylesbury are looking for a Helpdesk/Tier 1 Engineer to join their busy, expanding team.

The Role
Tier 1 engineers play a pivotal role in providing 1st class technical support for the ever-growing customer base. Working in a dynamic team, engineers will learn an array of skills on multiple in-house built systems and platforms. Being able to think outside of the box and being tenacious will be important in the role. Customer experience is key and therefore being able to work to SLA's and keeping departmental and personal KPI's in mind is imperative.

• Providing quick and effective triage of all customer requests
• An understanding of broadband technologies
• Owning issues until resolution
• Excellent support ticket management
• Liaising with internal departments
• Liaising with key suppliers and 3rd parties
• Co-ordinating field engineering resource for faults and incidents
• An understanding of Unified Communications

• A high standard of written and spoken English
• Excellent communication skills via telephone, email and face to face
• Able to remain calm under pressure
• Able to work using own initiative and think logically as well as work in a team
