This is an exciting opportunity to join our Head Office IT team in the new role of IT Help Desk Support Apprentice.

In this role, you will work as part of a small team within the larger IT Department based in an open-plan office. Responsibilities will include providing first line IT support to the whole of Head Office and escalating issues to senior members of the team or 3rd parties where necessary.

A confident nature is required as you will be required to respond to helpdesk queries via telephone and email, ensuring all requests are logged promptly on the IT help desk system.

Excellent communication skills will be required as you will ensure users are regularly kept informed of the status and progress of their request and will ensure that tickets are regularly updated.

This apprenticeship is run in conjunction with 3AAA Academy and will be fully funded. Whilst working at Center Parcs Head Office, you will therefore be required to attend classes at 3AAA offices in Nottingham. A full UK driving licence would therefore be preferred.

After successful completion of the course, you will achieve a City and Guilds L3 Diploma in Professional Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals and a L3 Extended Diploma in ICT (Systems & Principles).


You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4 week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal Head Office working hours are 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday. Occasional flexibility may be required.


Essential requirements:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisation & prioritisation skills
  • 5 GCSE Grades A to C or 9 to 5 or equivalent, specifically including Maths and English
  • A GCSE or equivalent in IT
  • Ability to work in a business environment
  • Team Player
  • An genuine interest in IT
  • Customer focused

Desirable requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous IT or Customer Service experience
