Field Support Engineer

£22,000 - £24,000 + Car with a fuel card

Due to recent growth, a certified Apple solutions provider is seeking a Field Support Engineer to work on-site with a variety schools and businesses across the South West region. Although the organisation are Apple specialists as a Field Support Engineer you will be installing and troubleshooting a variety of technology which also includes those from Microsoft and Google. This role is highly varied and will involve activities right across the technology lifecycle including, installations, server maintenance, integrations, migrations, re-purposing, decommissioning, and general BAU support. As the role will involve travel throughout Gloucestershire a car and fuel card will be provided.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven commercial experience providing 1st and 2nd Line support
  • Previous experience working within a school (an enhanced DBS check will be required if offered)
  • Full clean UK licence will be required to visit clients' sites and provide support onsite
  • An understanding and knowledge of Mac OS and Server
  • Experience working in a Wintel environment would be ideal
  • Exceptional communication skills
