Due to increasing volumes of work here at Thatcham Research, we are expanding our technical team and as such are looking for a talented IT Services Engineer to join us on a full time, permanent basis. Due to the diverse nature of projects, we will be pleased to consider candidates from a range of backgrounds, particularly those who have expert knowledge in on one of the following disciplines; Windows Server (Inc. services such as AD, ADFS, DNS, DFS), VMware, Linux servers or Cisco Networking.

As an IT Services Engineer your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Leading and managing technical projects from scope to implementation
  • Providing and maintaining clear system / service documentation
  • Updating and securing Thatcham’s intellectual property, including customer and member data
  • Managing change control, including SLAs, risk and information security
  • Providing knowledge and support to the technical support team where required

As an IT Services Engineer your skills and experience will include:

  • Experience working within an IT department supporting services like; Windows Server, Active Directory, SANs, Cisco Networking or Linux
  • Experience of managing and delivering IT projects, including achieving any service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Experience deploying and managing customer applications
  • Experience in complex software implementations, integrations and deployments

Location: Thatcham, Berkshire
