A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join a large IT department within a reputable financial services company in Central London.
Supporting over 1000 users, you will be working with the latest IT technologies and providing effective desktop support in a Windows based environment. Successful candidates will get exposure to future rollout projects, financial services applications and regular training. Please note that the business operates an IT support function between 7am and 7pm Monday to Friday and weekly 8 hour shift patterns will apply (7am - 3pm, 8am - 4pm, 11am - 7pm. Very occasional travel will be required to remote offices and so a full UK driving licence is essential.
This 2nd Line IT Support Analyst role is paying a starting salary of up to £37,000 depending on experience and skills. The package also includes excellent benefits such as an outstanding pension scheme, healthcare, gym membership and performance related bonuses.
To be suitable for this IT Desktop Support Analyst role you will need to have solid 2nd line IT support experience along with the following skills:
- Excellent customer service skills as you will be supporting a number of finance professionals within an ITIL environment
- Hardware troubleshooting; desktop PC's, laptops and printers
- Windows Operating Systems 7/8
- Microsoft Office
- Active Directory
