IT Co-ordinator

A rare opportunity is available with this dynamic international courier agent for an experienced IT support Co-ordinator. Ideally you will have previous IT support knowledge from within the freight/courier/logistics industry.

JOB TASKS:

Provide End User Support to all Users/Customers/Agents

Support Microsoft Products

Telephonic and Remote support and administration

Knowledge of Microsoft Server & Desktop Operating Systems

Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server

Knowledge of Linux (Proxmox) Environment

Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Fox Pro

Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server

Knowledge of VPN setup

Manage daily back up’s ensuring data integrity

Troubleshoot & resolve hardware, software and network related issues

Troubleshoot & resolve technical issues (Cisco Telephones, Printers, Scanners, Photocopiers, Mobile phones/devices, Routers, Firewalls etc)

Connect, configure and set up hardware for users and customers

Website maintenance & support

Install all required software

Create & maintain user profiles on Active Directory

Assist users with Freight Management Software System

Networking, installation, troubleshooting and repair

Identifying and purchasing from approved suppliers

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Computer Literacy - MS Office, A+; N+; MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional)

  • Available at all times

  • After hours support function

  • Deadline driven and meticulous

  • Excellent communication skills (orally and written)

  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in the IT Field

  • Support experience MS/Linux, Networking and Remote Administration

  • Willing to work overtime and shifts when required

  • Willing to travel if required

  • Abel to work in a deadline driven/high pressure environment

    DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Parcel Perfect Administration

  • Previous Courier industry experience advantageous

  • General I.T exposure
