The ideal candidate must be a qualified IT auditor (CISA), preferably with relevant Financial Services industry experience (will consider strong experience outside of this). You must have had prior experience in a similar position. The client is interested in candidates who have experience in IT or technological based auditing and risk management. As a senior IT auditor you must be able to communicate effectively and with confidence at all levels varying style and content as necessary. The role involves working as part of a team and also individually so you must be comfortable working with limited supervisions whilst also adding value to the team. You must also be able to manage time and deliverables to ensure a high quality audit product within the agreed time frames.
The main responsibilities of the audit teams will usually consist of one or more senior auditors and an audit manager, although senior auditors will also be expected to work unsupervised. The successful candidate will work as part of an assignment team design and undertake a range of IT audit projects using the department's audit methodology and within the required time frame and quality standards.
Communication is very important to explain audit findings and reports to management and support the head of Audit in carrying out the audit assignments.

A relevant Audit qualification, CISA preferred
Degree or relevant experience
