IT Application Support Engineer - Windows 10 application support, helpdesk / service desk, O365 - Derby - varied role providing escalated 2ndline user support for a mix of general and specialist applications
This is an interesting role providing support for users of a range of off the shelf and specialist software covering a mix of technical and user related issues and queries. It's quite a varied role and you'll be joining a wider technical team supporting technical and non-technical users with issues ranging from the fairly trivial quick fixes to problems that require deeper investigation
Ideal applicants will have experience in a similar role, providing application support for a medium to large userbase with a focus on most of the following - -
- General off the shelf application support
- Good Windows 10 desktop troubleshooting
- Exchange & Office 365 email support
- Active Directory & user access permissions
- Basic connectivity and networking knowledge
- Any knowledge of SCCM or application delivery / packaging (desirable)
Due to the nature of the work you may be required to undergo Security Clearance, any existing or previous clearance would be looked on favourably but we can talk you through the checks and any questions you might have about the clearance process.
In return, a salary of up to £30k is on offer with a good benefits package and opportunities for career progression.
