IT Administrator

Adecco Recruitment are currently recruiting for a IT Administrator to join a fantastic company in Herne Hill on a permanent basis.

This role is a mixture of 1st and 2nd line support, interacting directly with around 200 end users to provide a range of support on Windows and Apple Mac desktop machines. Regular tasks will include hardware and software installation/set-up and cover a range of core business software applications (including MS Office & Adobe InDesign) used by the group to meet its critical publishing demands. Some travel to our Clients other sites in Dartford, Kent and Dinton, Wiltshire may also be required.

The ideal candidate will be a confident self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to work on their own initiative. Candidates will require the technical skills to support the Herne Hill staff, manage back-up routines and undertake routine maintenance and administration procedures, single-handed. It is essential that the candidate has a strong knowledge of Microsoft Server 2008 architecture and an in-depth knowledge of Apple Mac OSX and Windows 7 and upwards. Also experience of working with Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud is essential. Good understanding of network architecture is also a requirement. Other duties include supporting mobile phones Android\Apple and general administration on the companies IP Phone system.

Aside from the necessary technical qualifications, candidates must also be able to demonstrate a good standard of education (to at least A-Level standard); have clear written and spoken English; have a positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic. The successful candidate must have the ability to use their own initiative and prioritise their workload to fit the needs of the business as they will be the sole on-site point of contact for IT Support.

This role is paying up to £38,000PA depending upon experience.
