An exciting opportunity has arisen with a vibrant business in Leeds who are seeking an IT Administrator to join their IT support team..
This opportunity may suit an individual with existing IT experience however if you have a dazzling smile, you are a logical thinker with an excellent eye for detail, fear not! We are happy to entertain applications from lesser experienced recent University Graduates or similarly qualified College leavers who have a genuine interest in forging a career within the field of IT... With a difference!
Whilst the business is a leader within its field, boasting six offices nationally, one in Germany with plans afoot to open an eighth in the coming months, uniquely the IT team is seeking to add a new member following the departure of a long standing member of the team. Due to growth, the IT Administrator will support internal staff with IT issues, logging and tracking issues, offering end to end support, hardware and software support (both over the phone and face to face), troubleshooting email queries and exploring printer issues to name but a few.
The team is a tight unit who combine a strong work ethic alongside office humour therefore an individual who is easy going, able to forge close relations with clients and colleagues respectively is vital to the overall success.
This business is all about having fun! Whilst the IT team is small, the office is vast and full of energy! The existing management structure is a tight unit who combine a strong work ethic alongside office humour. Employees across all departments are generally easy going, able to forge close relations with clients and colleagues and are always up for breaking the shackles of the day to day office lulls. Whether it’s putting a smile on people’s faces or introducing a game of 'stand up sit down bingo’ following the completion of a lunch break to liven the workplace, any prospective applicants must be able to smile even on a bad day.
The culture of the company is focused around a balanced work and social life. Having the respect of the IT team is most valued however a person who can buy into the work/social life balance is of equal importance. Whether you are the receptionist or business owner, employees start and finish work at the same time. An early finish on a Friday is also encouraged in a bid to recognise hard work across the week whilst a generous benefits package (including Perkbox) further strengthens ties between management and staff.
Whilst your bread and butter is IT support, ultimately a huge personality, genuine sense of humour, friendly smile, friendly telephone manner and the ability to identify areas for improvement is of foremost importance.
