Account Manager with a solid sales track record and a background in marketing required by a leading Consultancy in Colchester to work closely with their customers to drive new strategies to help them become more effective within their chosen industries. My client has seen tremendous growth delivering CX implementations and Oracle solutions to blue-chip organisations within a variety of sectors, and due to this successful growth, they now require an experienced Account Manager to join their team to help build new relationships whilst managing the company's existing client base. The company is entering an exciting phase so this is a great opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to play an integral role in the Sales Team.
The role will see you managing the company's existing client portfolio to understand their marketing requirements then be able to advise them on new strategies to help improve their customer journey by implementing new processes and technologies, whilst proactively finding new business through networking opportunities and representing the company at business conferences then be able to convert them into new business. You will also work closely with the marketing team to create new campaigns and events to promote the company's brand to ultimately attract new prospects.
Naturally, applicants should be able to display a proven sales track record with an ability to go above and beyond set targets within an IT consultancy or similar IT related environment. Not only this, the successful candidate will need to be driven, have a bag load of enthusiasm, experience spinning multiple plates at one time and be well presented given the client element of this role as you will be tasked to present the company's technology to new users. I am keen to stress this is not a cold call position, so your professional personality will be your key asset going into this role. The role is based in Colchester and you will be required to travel to Dublin every couple of weeks and regularly visit the London office to meet with the wider team.
