Job Title: IT Account Manager

Location: Birmingham

Salary: Up to £40,000

Are you an experienced IT Account Manager looking for a new challenge? We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Birmingham, and we want you to be a part of their dynamic team!

About the Role:

As an IT Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with key clients, ensuring their IT needs are met with top-notch solutions. You will act as the main point of contact, providing exceptional service and support, while identifying opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients, acting as their primary point of contact for all IT-related needs.
  • Understand clients’ business objectives and align IT strategies to meet these goals.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and work closely with sales and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Coordinate and oversee the delivery of IT services, ensuring client satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Conduct regular review meetings with clients to assess performance and address any issues or concerns.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements to provide clients with informed advice and recommendations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as an IT Account Manager or in a similar client-facing role within an MSP or IT services environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT services and solutions, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, networking, and managed services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically to address clients’ IT needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive and results-driven mindset, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
