We are searching for an IQA with Business Analyst and Project Management skills to join our multi award-winning company on our Operations team. You will be responsible for the delivery and Internal Quality Assurance of the Government-funded programmes on offer at Just IT.

We are seeking someone with a passion for their work in Internal Quality Assurance.
Position Overview

You will be responsible for the delivery and Internal Quality Assurance of the government-funded programmes on offer at Just IT. You will work alongside the Lead IQA and Operations Managers to develop the quality of provision provided by the assessor team. The main aims are to work closely with the coaches and establish effective ways of learning to improve learner progression, satisfaction and success rates promptly. We will need you to ensure that all End Point Assessment organisations standards/ policies/ processes are maintained and produce sampling plans based on risk and follow and update these through desk-based sampling, observation of practice and interview.

In addition, you will be responsible for communicating all updates on qualifications, quality assurance practices and information on assessment and feedback from External Quality Assurance visits. You will also be required to monitor and ensure that completion rates for each subject area and the contract overall meet those that are set by the company and the ESFA and ensure learners planned end dates are in line with funding/organisation requirements. As part of this role, you will be required to carry a small caseload of learners as a Coach.

Responsibilities

Motivate and encourage learning and development through the delivery teams
Recording and reporting on activity to management in a timely and professional manner
Communicating with the Apprenticeship team on candidates for concern based on IQA activity
Sample apprentice portfolios promptly at different milestones in the learner journey following the sampling strategy
Undertake observations of teaching-learning and assessment with the Coach (in line with the OTLA strategy) and provide feedback
Hold regular standardisation meetings for all team members, sharing good practice and addressing assessment queries or concerns
Support on External Quality Assurer visits and EPAO relationships
Actively develop new initiatives and methodologies to impact candidates learning
Ensuring that Just IT Training & Skills Team are perceived within the market as a high-quality provider of government-funded solutions to both candidates and clients alike
Ensure best practices and be aware of Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities and related Acts

Candidate Requirements

D32/33, A1 or TAQA Units at Level 3
D34, V1 or TAQA Units at Level 4
D35, V2 or TAQA Units at External Quality Assurance Level
Teaching Qualification (i.e. Level 3 Certificate in Education & Training)
Current knowledge and experience of working within the sector or associated professional/occupational area within the last 2-3 years
Understanding and experience of assessment, moderation, effective quality assurance mechanisms and external quality assurance
Have a thorough knowledge of the qualifications system & national policies including Equality & Diversity, Safeguarding & Well-Being
Excellent communicator
Be flexible, adaptable and able to cope under pressure
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills and use of tracking mechanisms
Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Good team worker with an ability to work independently
Support the delivery team to deliver a high-quality experience to the apprentices
