ABOUT THE ROLE

There is an opportunity for a Junior iOS developer to join the Bristol office. I am looking for someone with a desire to keep learning and an appetite to push mobile technologies to the limits. This is an opportunity to work within a team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of mobile applications for my clients fantastic clients.

I am are seeking someone who may be involved in all stages of the delivery cycle, at times including definition and estimation, wireframes and specifications, app development, testing and ongoing support. Working alongside Android, Web and Windows Phone developers, you will be working to well-defined app delivery processes through a combination of waterfall and agile methodologies. A dedicated Project Manager is allocated to each project to ensure that the app is delivered on time and in budget.

ABOUT YOU

I am seeking someone with established experience in native Android development, with an appetite for new challenges within an exciting growing business.

·Skills and Requirements

·Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform

·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

·Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

·Work on bug fixing and improving application performance

·Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

·Essential:

·Experience in iOS development and software development

·Understanding of the full mobile development life cycle

·iOS development experience with demonstrable apps released on App Store

·Understanding of iOS programming paradigms and memory management

·Knowledge of the iOS SDK, Objective-C, Swift

·Knowledge of RESTful web services, XML and JSON data format

·Excellent communication and client facing skills

·Knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

·Excellent teamwork skills, good analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

·Desirable:

·Well-rounded developer with more than just iOS experience

·Knowledge of C/C++

·Exposure to agile & test-driven development methodologies

·Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

·Experience and knowledge of Mac OS X, Git (or any SCM) & Photoshop
