As a result, the company is recruiting for a 2:1/1st class graduate qualified accountant, Senior Analyst or Associate to undertake an Investments Portfolio Manager role. Supporting the Infrastructure & Renewables team and reporting to the Portfolio Director, you will act as the PD right hand in relation to investments, including maximising yield and value various infrastructure funds. A broad brief includes:
•Identification & management of value enhancements & asset management initiatives in relation to portfolio investments, including optimising tax claims, refinancing, bulk procurement, treasury management, financial restructuring & accounting policies
•Managing preparation of financial forecasts, specifically, forecasting cashflow & dividend cash cover & assist in annual business plans
•Assisting with preparation of board papers & presentations, shareholder materials & fund-raising documents
•Supporting the Fund Manager, Portfolio Director & Investor Relations teams in preparing information for analysts & investors
•Managing refinancing of underlying sub-portfolios of investments, assisting in Group debt management in consultation with Portfolio Director
•Supporting on acquisitions, considering impact on portfolio returns & cashflows
•Supporting on management of Revolving Credit Facility lenders & extensions
•Supporting other listed & un-listed Infrastructure funds
As a 2:1/1st class graduate and qualified MBA, ACA, CIMA or ACCA, you will demonstrate post qualification experience, ideally gained within the PFI/Infrastructure Investment Fund Management sector. The role demands a rigorous analytical and results-oriented approach, numerical dexterity and outstanding interpersonal skills.
