Investment Business Development Proposals Executive

We are searching for a Business Development executive with strong Proposals experience for a Global Investment Company.

Working within a growing the BD team, this is an exciting role using your writing and business development skills.

You will work with the Investment Business Development team to build the business and ensure we deliver high quality proposals.

This position requires exceptional written, verbal communication and relationship management skills as well as significant interaction with key internal firm representatives.

·Building business by pro-actively reaching out to targets and organising meetings.

·Interact with prospects and participate in select meetings.

·Gather and synthesize research on target markets, prospective clients, competitive intelligence and industry trends.

·Project-manage prospects through the sales cycle, co-ordinating internal resources and managing deadlines.

·Prepare requests for proposals and presentations in conjunction with team members and investment directors for both new prospects and existing clients.

·Create effective and visually appealing content for use with existing and prospective clients.

·Support follow-up efforts to ensure prospect and client movement through the business development pipeline.

·Attending investment conferences, build relationships, screening opportunities for engagement and brand building.

·Proactively contribute to team's strategic planning process by offering ideas and submitting internal proposals related to marketing, client relationship management, public relations, competition, content and internal systems.

·Build and maintain investment knowledge by reading research reports, global periodicals and other firm publications. Intellectual curiosity is important.

·Work on special ad hoc projects when requested.


·Experience writing RfP and creating pitch presentations is essential

·Knowledge of institutional investment marketplace and investment management principles

·Excellent organisational and project management skills

·Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite, with emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel

·Very strong communication skills with demonstrated writing skills

·Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

·Confident personable manner
