As a leading global Investment Management group, this highly successful business focuses on infrastructure and real estate to create real value for investors, project partners, communities and end users. Operating globally, with a head office in London, the organisation has doubled in size in the past two years and with c.$10bn++ of equity capital in funds is enjoying ambitious expansion across all revenue streams. As a result, the company is recruiting for an Investment Analyst to support the Infrastructure team in the management of various funds. Your brief includes:
•Sourcing & execution of new-build "greenfield" infrastructure projects through development, design, construction & management during early operating phases
•Sourcing, execution & management of "brownfield" operational infrastructure projects in social infrastructure, transportation or renewable energy sectors
•Portfolio valuations & review of financial model updates
•Detailed investigation of the investment portfolio to identify savings & value enhancements including refinancing
•Updating fund forecast models to review future projections for business planning, modelling of equity returns & key commercial/financial inputs including debt facilities
•Supporting origination, analysis, structuring, documentation & execution of infrastructure investment opportunities with a primary European focus
•Competitor analysis & market reviews
•Assisting with review of due diligence & structuring work-streams
•Supporting preparation of investment opportunity presentations to the Investment Committee
As a 2:1/1st class graduate or MBA with a strong academic track record, you will demonstrate 6-12 months relevant infrastructure expertise gained through internships with developer, adviser, industrial sponsor, infrastructure fund, project finance advisory and/or lending institutions, strong Excel financial modelling skills and fluency in English and French/Spanish/German and/or Dutch. The role demands a rigorous analytical and results-oriented approach, numerical dexterity and outstanding interpersonal skills. The ability to influence and build robust relationships with key stakeholders is prerequisite to the success of the role.
