Investment Analyst - Renewable Energy Infrastructure - Private Equity

A sustainable infrastructure Investment Fund is looking for an experienced Analyst to develop financial and operational models within its growing investments team. This is a great opportunity for a proficient modeller to develop their skills within an experienced and proactive team and work with the end-to-end transactional cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop financial and operational models to analyse new infrastructure projects, new investment prospects and manage existing assets.
  • Present projects, reports and critical data to the company investment committee.
  • Partner with the Finance team and Project Managers, providing analytical support and sense check valuation assumptions.
  • Calculate NPV valuations, IRR’s and DCF’s and present returns and valutions on portfolios.
  • Develop models to reflect industry sensitivities, contract terms and reflect tax and accounting projections accurately.


  • 1-3 years’ experience in financial modelling with a proven ability to build and develop financial models.
  • High-level of analytical skill, attention to detail, advanced Excel capability and ability to deal with complex data sets.
  • Experienced at applying initiative and managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Ability to present conclusions, challenge assumptions and manage challenges from internal and external stakeholders in turn.
  • Strong academic background
