Our clientprovides a comprehensive financial planning service to their clients and they are currently looking to add an Investment Administrator to the team
They offer investment advice, pension, protection and estate planning to both corporate and individual clients.
Main Purpose of Job:
Responsibilities include liaising with investment companies to obtain valuations and transaction histories of client holdings, inputting these details into our back office database, Intelligent Office and using this information to produce client portfolio valuations and reports for the Consultants.
Sound knowledge of investment products is preferable as it is necessary to differentiate between investment types (eg. ISA, Unit Trust, Bonds etc) as is the ability to understand reinvestments,
You will also be required to deal with database housekeeping including recording details of fund switches, updating client details and other general administration.
Previous experience in an administrative role ideally within the financial services is advantageous, candidates with no experience but an interest in progressing in a financial services career will be considered.
