Inventory Manager

Job Outline

To manage the Stock Control Function and meet the Contractual Requirements of the Customer by:

  • -Ensuring compliance with all Legislative and Company standards.
  • -Managing the stock and all Re Work Requirements
  • -Manage all site specific requirements in relation to maintenance and stock accountability
  • -Ensure that all Goods In and Out activities are effectively managed
  • -Customer service levels are maintained, monitored and improved.

    Responsibilities and Objectives

  • To ensure compliance with all Legislative and Company Standards
  • To manage the organisational requirements of the assigned resource pool
  • To manage all site specific requirements in relation to stock accountability
  • Ensure that all Site Goods In and Out activities are effectively managed
  • Customer service levels are maintained and improved

    Additional Areas of responsibility include

  • Managing the briefing process ensuring all staff are aware of their daily responsibilities checks, stock control processes and daily requirements are correctly dealt with.
  • Completing weekly KPI reports and follow up on poor performance

    Qualifications


    Core

  • IOSH Managing Safely.
  • ESLL Accident Investigation Process
  • ESLL Disciplinary training
  • IT Literate including Microsoft word, excel and outlook.
  • Working knowledge of key ESLL Systems (WMS / SAP etc).
  • Working knowledge of WTD Legislation.
  • Working knowledge of any specific site related legislation (EFSIS etc).
  • HACCP Foundation
  • Qualified understanding of the Operations Managers Key Responsibilities Matrix.

    Desirable

    • Equivalent of 5 GCSE’s Grade C or above.

    Experience

    • >2 Years experience of Warehouse Operations within ESLL

    Or

    • Proven record in a similar role external to ESLL
    • Demonstrable organisational skills
