Inventory Controller(s) Required for Immediate Starts

We are currently recruiting Inventory Controller(s) for our client who's Derby site is a global centre of excellence for rail engineering and aluminium car body manufacture.

Details of an Inventory Controller:

  • Salary: £12ph-£15ph
  • Working Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday (Days)
  • Location: Derby
  • Duration: Ongoing
  • Education required: A Level / equivalent or any other relevant discipline
  • Number of years experience required: 2 years Supply Chain/Logistics Experience

Role of an Inventory Controller:

This role will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of A,B & C cat suppliers to ensure material is delivered in line with SAP MRP generated schedules. This will support planned Production outputs.

This includes the management and processing of non conforming material back into the supply chain to be repaired and returned in line with delivery requirements, Management of material inventory levels to support Production requirements whilst maintained at an agreed value.

This role will cover the start up, realisation and completion phases of a Project.

The role will be a split of 40% Supply Chain Management, 40% SAP - MRP Management and 20% Governance.

For the role you will need to be literate in MS Office suite (particularly Excel, Work and Power Point, Project). Experience of SAP would be preferable.
