Our client is the UK market leader in LED lighting, sourcing products suitable for both the commercial and domestic market with the aim of bringing the best possible lighting solutions to their customers.
This is a new role and is crucial to the strategic growth of the company and will see you implementing strategies, goals and objectives to improve the overall supply chain performance. This will involve all areas of stock management, from maintaining and reviewing procurement procedures to ensure efficient return on investment, managing the forecasting system, implementing life cycle management, overseeing company spend and stock levels and working with suppliers to manage delivery, lead times and MOQs. You will be liaising with all areas of the business both within the UK and in China and will be involved in ensuring that any supplier changes are made smoothly and efficiently and without any out of stock situations.
You will have two direct reports in this role, so you should have some experience of leading a small team. You will need excellent communication skills and be results driven, enthusiastic and have the ability to implement and lead projects from start to finish. This is a high pressure role with demanding objectives but you will be working with an amazing team of people who are all working towards the same goals - there are genuine opportunities for progression within this role.
