Founded in 2013, the business has grown each year and is now seeking reliable candidates to join the freelance team. Currently we are looking for Inventory Clerks to join us on a self-employed basis. The properties are based everywhere inside the M25.

You will receive a percentage fee averaging £40 per booking and will be able to work in a flexible and reliable fashion. Your job allocation will increase as will growth opportunity depending on your commitment. So be aware, we only hire those who display the highest standards of diligence, punctuality and professionalism.

Our training will equip the successful candidate with current knowledge and expertise within the field and will serve as a good foundation for further education.

You must have achieved English GCSE C or above (or equivalent); have access to a PC with internet connection, own a smart phone. IT literacy is also an essential requirement for this role.

As an inventory clerk you will be expected to travel all over London and compile very detailed reports on the items, descriptions and conditions of properties. The inventory lists are written in intricate detail and are used as part of legal contractual documentation between the tenant and landlord to ensure that tenants do not lose their deposits, and that landlords’ investments are well protected. For this reason, what we do at Pinpoint Homes is pivotal to this process as ultimately what is written in our reports can affect the livelihoods of the parties involved.

Person Specification

Essential Requirements:

  • GCSE English and Maths grade C and above or equivalent.
  • You will be IT literate.
  • You will also be required to provide your own smart phone.
  • You will need to have constant access to a computer, online internet service.
  • You will need to be well presented and professional at all times. (As per guidelines to be provided).
  • A high standard of organisational skills, attention to detail and reliability is imperative.
  • You will be required to carry out Inventories, Check Outs, Check Ins and Inspections.

Days: Your availability will generally need to be between Monday to Saturday with some scope to work on Sundays.

Hours: You can choose when to work. The more jobs you accept, the further up the first call list you’ll be within the Pinpoint Homes inventory clerk portfolio. Your availability at short notice will be required at times

Areas: London anywhere within the M25. You can specify whether you would prefer to stay North or South of the Thames. The more willing you are to travel, the more work we can offer you.

Dress Code: Clerks are expected to be professional and presentable

Training: There will be an initial trial period the length of which will depend on the individual candidate. The successful candidate will be inducted and trained.
