Inventory Clerk - Experienced in Property Sector

Experienced Inventory Clerk with a full UK driving licence and your own mode of transport required by National inventory service provider for Winchester/Andover region. A experienced, reliable and professional person is required to prepare industry leading reports using our bespoke inventory software to provide our Clients with the highest quality customer services.

Ideally you will be based in Andover/Winchester, completing inventories, check-ins, property visits and check-outs. This is a fast paced role so attention to detail is important.

The Role

As an inventory clerk, you will find yourself completing inventories, mid-term inspections, check-ins and checkouts.

The successful applicant will be visiting residential properties of all kinds from studio flats to luxury homes and producing reports via a tablet (software supplied) on the condition and contents.

You will also be required to collect keys from and deliver them to letting agent’s offices and also sign keys over to and receive keys from tenants.


Previous experience working as an inventory clerk / property inspector (minimum 2 years experience).

A career-driven individual who aspires to a full-time role with potential to grow and progress within the company.

Full UK driving licence & own mode of transport.

Excellent customer-facing & interpersonal communication skills.

Confident IT skills - ability to use an iPad (or similar device), download photographs, use email & proprietary inventory software.

Strong attention to detail.

Highly self-motivated.

Flexible - Work load is variable but busy work periods are beginning /end of the week and Saturdays and end on the month so you must be able to work these days / weeks.

Smartly presented as you will be dealing with other professionals and letting agents.

You must have English as your first language or have a high degree of English fluency and have a high standard of English grammar and spelling.

You must be able demonstrate that you have great attention to detail and be conscientious as reports are sometimes used as evidence in dispute proceedings.

Common sense is a must, and you must be able to problem solve and work unsupervised.

You must have an outgoing pleasant personality

The ideal candidate will able to take exact instruction from our office and clients.

You will have great time management skills and arrive on time for meetings with agents and tenants.

You will be able to organise your driving route between multiple destinations to letting agent’s offices and property addresses.

Experienced inventory clerks will be trained in the use of our inventory App and specific requirements of reporting
